Re: Berry-Pope do not enter buoys

If you are fishing a tournament and it's marked do not enter - that would be an issue (not that you mentioned tournaments) but to all-tournament anglers, I recommend always asking your TD prior to the event. If the BOR has it posted it would be off-limits, whether or not it's actively being enforced...

Re: Top 3 Baits for JANUARY Bass Fishing! VIDEO

I got to check out that new Berkley Stunna Jerkbait looks killer and I appreciate a slight slow falling jerk. I agree with Evan across the board - Jerkbait, Jig with a MaxScent Power Chunk, swim bait and drop shot with a Max Scent Hit Worm or Flat Tail shad is my 'Go To' line up winter - early spring.

Re: Best warm and waterproof gloves for fishing?

I wear fingerless wool gloves over nitril gloves, and tuck a HotHands packet in the palm of the nitril glove. The nitril is waterproof, so the HotHands packet never gets wet, and the wool gloves stay warm even if they get wet. Yup Mr. Poulson understands that the nitrile keeping the cold water and ...

This is going to sound crazy, i know I did to me until I tried it. I use surgical gloves (Nitrile) underneath my wool fingerless gloves for fishing. When driving etc just a pair of ski gloves. The nitrile keeps the water from getting onto your skin and allows me to cast and feel the line with ease. ...

Get a Bass Cat Caracal. They handle rough water better than a lot of 20' footers and run close to the same speed. I came out of a 520 and bought a Caracal. In my experience the caracal runs rough water/big water just as good, but fishes better in swallow water compared to the 520. I fish all the pr...
