When did they start allowing personal boats on the lake? Last I knew they would not allow any. If you wanted to use a boat it had to be one of their rentals. It has been a couple months since I have been so maybe they changed it.

Thanks for the info! I ended up going to Lower Otay. I figured that would be a good bet because it has a lot of shore fishing spots.
