Re: club tourneys without permits
You can export it if you need a hard copy, but you can sort right from the website- just click any column heading- in this case "Sponsor Name" and it will sort alphabetically. You'll probably find that the list updates very frequently as we approach the new year, although it appears to me ...

Re: Transducer guard
I've had one on my boat for almost 2 years now, and I think it provides great protection. Had no problems running it through wood or bouncing it off rocks. I like the medieval look as well.

Re: Pirates finally shot somebody down on Falcon Lake
After the incident(s) a couple months ago, I figured the news out of Falcon would have been that some good ol boys had taken to policing the south side of the lake.

Just broke in my Dobyns Champion Extreme 744, handled football heads up to 3/4 oz beautifully. Just my second Dobyns but I will be considering them first from here on. I think they are as good as it gets at the price.

Pirates finally shot somebody down on Falcon Lake
they shot a jet skier, as if they would have anything of value to take! Not sure yet what happened to the guy. Crazy.

Thats cool Dan, as I said I have not used your services but the scream of all my curado 200s is getting closer to taking them off pulling the line boxing them up and sending them to you for an overhaul. If you could PM me with your address and contact number I will get that done and tell the world ...

Re: ReelEx is Closing
Just my 2 cents- shooting yourself in the foot because somebody pissed you off on the internet is not good business- I have a bunch of Abec 5s and some Speed Ex, I'll tune up some Shimano reels for cheap if anybody needs it. It may cost you a beer or a boat ride at DVL... I'm kidding, but why throw...

Re: Why is it "A Sad Day" in Bass fishing?
Whether it was "one act," we may never know. Many will say that 8 fish, 10 weights, 2 days indicates multiple acts. If cheating for each of 2 days is one act, would cheating in 2 tournaments be one act? By extrapolation, would a lifetime of cheating in tournaments be one act? Nobody wants ...

Re: Why is it "A Sad Day" in Bass fishing?
I agree totally. When bank robbers are apprehended before they get away with the $ it is not a bad day for banking. True, this is more like an "inside job" where one of our own committed the crime, so even more kudos to WON and Bill Egan for doing the right thing, and doing it expeditiously.

Re: Would you ever buy a used boat without tech inspection?
I bought a boat this last year after test-driving and visually inspecting it myself, but most importantly I performed a compression check on each cylinder. Although I had driven several hundred miles to see it, i would have walked away from the sale if any of the above 3 inspections had not been to ...

Re: camping june 9-12
Bass Lake outside of Oakhurst has several campgrounds in the Ponderosa pines along the south side of the lake. I have stayed at the Forks campground many times, although not for several years. Flush toilets, but you need to drive to the resort to shower. Just checked reserveamerica.com and there are...

Andy- good to see that you "got better." Finesse kid- one of the things I've found that makes a bait more visible is the presence of silver, gold or any super-reflective glitter in the plastic. I especially like chartreuse gitzits with glitter, they will appear to actually "glow"...

I just installed a Comfort Troll in my 2003 Champ 188 last week. I can already tell the difference it has made for my back and knees after a couple of days on the water. A friend had one in his 2004 188 and I was able to feel how much more comfortable it was with the pedal at deck-level. I like the ...

Re: HBC 6...Short Story and Thank you!
John- one last congratulations from me (sorry Manas, old buddy)! I enjoyed being along for the boat ride on Friday. Admirable how you stuck with the big bait all day, even when things slowed. Not that they ever slowed much, you had a bunch of quality fish. Getting that big fish so late really says a...
