looks like a 2 person 5 fish limit. There is nothing illegal or wrong with it. It was just a reminder for me at what im up against on our waters. Times that picture by the hundreds of shore anglers. That is a lot of harvesting going on. That was my only point.

Someone had a good day!
I found this picture on Lake Piru's website. For some reason it bothers me to look at it. Maybe cause I fish tournaments and tell everyone i know about catch and release. This is just a little reminder on how much our local lakes in so cal get raped everyday. http://camplakepiru.com/wp-content/uploa...

My dad and I planned on fishing this circuit. But due to low numbers, poor communication, slow result turn around...i can go on and on. I took a day off work to fish the pyramid tournament and it was cancelled last minute (not due to weather). I refuse to fish this circuit until they figure it out. ...

I used to own a boat that the top speed was about 30-32mph. I was surprised to see the amount of boats that actually did not pass me at blast off in the morning during the TSJ events last year. Now that I have a new boat I have never been in that situation so far. However someone would still have to...

Night Tournaments
So I want to fish some night tournaments this year. Maybe some FOCL and some of the Piru events. I have never fished a night tournament.
My question(s) are what additional equipment should I have prior to the event? Any tips, success stories or comments would be greatly appreciated.

The rules are the rules...you have to try not to make mistakes like that as the consequence is huge.
I think thats the challenge of tournament fishing. Eliminating mistakes while following all tournament rules.
