Re: HDS 9 and HDS 12 wont communicate??
Guys thank you so much. Turns out it is a bad ethernet port on the HDS 12. As you know, gen 2 touch units have 2 ethernet ports. When I plugged the cable into the other yellow port all communication came back. Incident reported with Lowrance and they are fixing under warranty. THanks for everything ...

HDS 9 and HDS 12 wont communicate??
I recently went to Laughlin to fish Mojave. When I arrived I detached my HDS 12 from the bow and my HDS 9 from the console like I always do. Reconnected them in the morning and now they wont communicate with each other. This is bothersome because I run navionics in the HDS 9 which is on the console ...

Call Performance Tackle in Los Alamitos and ask for Marc. Tell him Jason Prewitt sent you. He wraps a KILLER drop shot rod perfect for use with a Curado 50. I registered in January as a non-boater. Ashley just called me this morning and informed me that there are not enough boats to get me in. Bass forage question at Diamond Valley
Im wondering what you guys think....as we are guys looking to catch more and bigger fish a simple rule we usually follow is to try to mimic the current forage that the bass happen to be on at that particular time. For example...if there is a crawdad bite, we are throwing jigs, ikas, etc... if there ...

When fishing shallow water structure I will often texas rig a tube and pitch it in, the slider will fall quickly and slide UP the line and the tube will flutter down slowly like a dying shad because of the air inside.....

All of this info is great!
I would also add to add a drop of superglue where the hook enters and exits the tube. This will help seal up the tube and keep air in it as long as possible.
