J/K but I am hating that lake right now. Senkos and c-rigged lizards and reapers in 12-20 ft. will get bites, can not tell you they will be the right bites but you should be able to put a limit in the boat

Re: I can win the z518 with my old ranger in FLW?
If it wasn't clear, the idea behind the marketing is to promote sales of new models--it's not a vintage boat show. Although that would be a great idea too--I'd love to see a tournament geared toward 60s and 70s era boats and equipment. A "Golden Age of Bass Angling" promo tournament serie...

Having a smaller boat with a limited range I always try to launch near what I am going to fish. Pretty much every thing has been covered here. B&W, Paradise Point, Ladds, and Whiskey Slough are all good ramps that will put you close to productive areas of the delta. If I am going to fish Hog, Be...

Re: Henry Coe State Park?
I have been three times, most recently last year. Mississippi Lake has the best bass fishing with plenty of 12-14 inch bass to keep you bust all day long. We fished Coit lake years ago but it is full of very small fish and gets greater pressure because of its proximity to bike trails. The problem is...

Its good to see that the AC/WRL is drawing so well. Its a testament to Danny Peluso who runs a good circuit. I wish I was in a position to fish these again.

I love my Seal Skinz as well. I have an insulted pair and an uninsulated pair and I would not give them up. I also recently started wearing a pair of wicking socks under them to keep my feet from getting clammy, although not as much with the uninsulated ones.

I just replaced a G. Loomis rod last week. I filled out the warranty return sheet from their web site and put the rod in the mail on Thursday and I had the new rod on my doorstep on Monday. All I paid for was the cost to ship my broken rod back to them a total of $4.90 through the U.S. postal servic...

I dont like the looks of the bolt on deal. the holes in the tubing will start to slot after alot stop&goes. If they made the same kit that wasnt coated you could weld it on and use the bolt holes for plug welds. They make a weld on version http://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Coupler/Fulton/FHDPW330...

My neighbor used the Cabelas kit on his older ski boat and has not has a problem. He has been towing his boat for two summers now without an issue. He is only a recreational boater (may 6 times a summer) so I do not know how it would hold up for a hard core fisherman.

I own the rod and I love it for DD22s, small hard swimbaits and big spinnerbaits, but I would not use it for a Frog rod, not stout enough for that
