Re: Vixens ?
I think it was around 5-6 years ago. Some retailers received a new shipment of Vixens within the last year or so, but I'm not sure if they were made to the original specs. There are a couple knockoffs out there as well.

Re: lake nacamiento lake level?
Lake level is at 19%, almost 80 feet down. I haven't been out there recently, but I have heard people have been catching 25+ fish a day.

Pretty low, it's at 37%, 27 feet down. Hopefully this rain helps all of our lakes, we need it badly.

Re: Margarita Spots?
They have been in there for at least 5 years or so, maybe longer. They are in San Antonio as well. I don't think they will take over margarita, but they have been caught on a regular basis for the past couple years. If I catch one, I kill it. Already got naci, we don't need any other local lakes wit...

Re: Is there such a thing
I think it comes down to the "what if" factor. What if I hear about some really good bite and a certain color is working, and I don't have it? What if I run into a friend on the water and he said he's catching them on a certain bait, and I don't have it? Etc. Etc. For me, (and I'm sure jus...

Re: Input on upgrading boats
I took it out for a test drive yesterday. It's a little faster than my current boat, but I think im gonna hold out for something better. Plus if I sell my boat I will have more money to work with. Thanks for all the input. Very much appreciated.

Input on upgrading boats
I currently have a 14ft aluminum boat with a 25hp Evinrude, 45lb minn kota front mount trolling motor, and full deck. I found a guy selling a 98 Bass Tracker, 17 feet, with a 25hp motor, 40lb trolling motor, with a HDS-5x. It's in decent condition, but my main concern are the motors, both the outboa...

Re: Nacimiento
I am not positive, but I have heard that if you catch a white bass you are supposed to cut their gill plates and kill them at naci, and that if a ranger/game warden sees you release one, you can get ticketed. Maybe someone will chime in and clarify all this.

Re: Seaguar Tatsu Fluorocarbon Line
For me, it is the best line I have used for spinning reels. I wouldn't use it for my casting reels, the Invizx or Abrazx does the job. I bought some 6lb for my drop shot rod, and I was very impressed. I have swung lots of 2lb spots into the boat with the 6lb test, and have yet to break a fish off (k...

Delta Trip
Heading up to the delta on wednesday. We will be lauching out of Russo's. We are going to be targeting largemouth, but would like to find some stripers as well. How is the largemouth bite? Where could we find some stripers? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
