I looked on the Ca. Fish and Wildlife site, under fishing contest and Modesto Ambassadors have a permit for June 11 & 12, 2022. I would think that is for the night tournament.

UPDATE 4/3/2020: Beginning April 4, all facilities are temporarily closed to the public until further notice. This includes the Visitor Center, Administration office, campgrounds, trails and all day-use and boat launching facilities.

Attention Campers and Boaters
The Agency has received notification from SFPUC that the Evacuation Order has been lifted for the Moccasin Point Recreation Area and the Moccasin Point Marina. Recreational use of the area can resume - effective immediately.

Moccasin Ramp opened today, 2-27. Not sure about the other end of the lake.

I checked Fish and Wildlife site and Badgepackers hasn't been issued a permit for this fall yet.

Launching is OK, Still has water, level even going up a little.

Sorry it took a week to reply. Fished out of Moccasin Last Wed, 2-12. No problem launching there. But no telling what next month will bring. Not a lot of snow in the mtn. when they start using the water for watering a thirsty valley.

I had the drain plug tube replaced in my Basscat at Smooth as Glass in Riverbank. It was a few years ago, I cannot remeber how much it cost. Their telephone number is 209-8693545. It didn't take very long for them to do, about 1 hour.

I believe that being in the Military allows that person to buy a Resident fishing license and not have to buy a more expensive non resident.
