if you decide to go with the live bait..not that i would..i recommend you get some coordinates from someone who really knows the lake and just sit on top of an area.. was out there yesterday from 6 to 6..really slow bite..but still got a limit.. noticed a lot of the trollers were going way too fast....

hey ash, I currently tow right now with an older 4runner a 97 to be exact..the power is definitely not there but the thing is really capable of pulling anything..i wouldnt settle for any v6 foreign or domestic if youre going to be towing more then 19ft..i cant imagine the stress on the transmission....

I miss catching salmon down town on Rat-Traps. Just remember now it is illegal to keep salmon caught in this side of the delta. :? There is a very good run of Salmon hitting the Delta this fall. Do be aware, if ya catch one on the San Jaquine River side, regulations stipulate ya gotta turn it loose...

spoon fishing is truly incredible!.. what i found is that a spoon is sorta like a crankbait..due to the fact that you are literally rippin the spoon (depending)..try thinking about it as if you were to rip a crank out from the bass' mouth and in turn you miss the hit..after literally growin to love ...

Here's a much lower cost alternative. I can justify the $ for either PP or Talon' cause only maybe 1/8th of my fishing is in shallow water, but these work out great for me and I have a 20" glass boat. http://Dig-IN-Anchors.com/ dig-in pole is sick!.. thank you for bringin' this to my attention..
