Re: Slow down in the 5's guys!...
I've fished competitively for 20 years and been on the water as far back as I can remember, I am well aware of the difference between a 5 and a no wake. I am also aware that getting off pad 6-8 rows of houseboats into the 5 is bologna. For the record, this guy was pushing a friggin Tsunami... My int...

Slow down in the 5's guys!...
I recently bought a houseboat on Oroville and this past weekend, there must have been a tournament but I haven't checked. I watched a guy blow several hundred yards inside the 5 at Bidwell. When he finally slowed down, he was still far over the 5 MPH/ No Wake limit. Motor was trimmed up, bow high in...

I'm an avid dirt bike rider and one who grew up riding the monster hills at Carnegie. This is nothing more than an eco-nazi attack by environmental a$$holes. They want to shut down anything and everything off-road. Don't think for a second our waterways are safe from this same kind of crap.

Re: Interesting Tournament Trail Format Forming
From what I have read, there is no exclusion for an "amateur" aside from your ability to float a boat and come up with the $118.00. Just my opinion but this may be a great way for a few "AM's" to get their feet wet from the pointed end of the boat. Perhaps there could be a "...

I am one that is intrigued by this format that hasn't fished (tournaments) in a long time.
Sounds simple. Pay $118.00 to fish on the business end of the boat for a nice purse, pile of braggin rights and comraderie like the good 'ol days. I like it.

Your title of this post is misleading to most who do not understand insurance. Hull damage is in fact a covered item (if purchased) on your boat policy however, the "peril" or type of loss is what seems to have everyone in an uproar. Collision would normally be covered if that coverage had...

That is usually acceptable as long as the two baits are tied to just that one rod. Rules state that only one rod can be used at a time. If memory serves me correctly, it mentions nothing about the quantity of artifical lures tied to that one rod.
