One question I have is now that Oroville is down 140', can sonar logs from those depths update the lake map? I seem to recall that the data can only update layers that already exist. Can you confirm this?

I downloaded the Navionics app on my iPhone thinking that it would be a good backup in case my GPS went out but it occurred to me that the app might not work if I didn't have cell service. Does anyone know if the GPS on the iPhone works without cell service?
