Minn Kota has a really good guide on their website regarding wiring size .
It wasn't real clear on mixing of battery group sizes . I just went to a 24V system and have one 27 and one 24 , so I assume my run time will be mainly limited to capacity of the group 24 .

I caught a 4.6lber on a spinnerbait once and it had some line coming out it' s arse , I carefully pulled on the line and a 4/0 hook with a brush hog eventually came out . The hook WAS NOT rusted at all , I suspect the hook had been in that bass 2-4 days . Bass seemed totally fine when I released it .

Memories of my grandfather teaching me how to catch Walleyes , Pike and catfish . Then teaching my son bass fishing .

I have fished Amador many times in the past during fall .
It can be a great time for big fish , especially if you can find some " bad " weather .
The problem is when they do big draw down of the water , the fish move out deeper and tend to suspend more .

I did mine a fews years ago . easy job . Buy the wood , cut to length . Take penetrating Epoxy and coat the wood twice .
Marine carpet adhesive , tack the carpet , staple down . Take to the lake ( on a slow day ) bring your tools , swap out the bunks and done --cost , less than $100 .

I had a similar problem . It turned out to be the spark plugs . Easy to check , just pull a few out and see what they look like , mine were corroded and built up. For some reason , Yamaha 4 strokes tend to build up a residue in the spark plug gaps . I replaced all of mine and problem solved .
