The docks are out of the water
They are still releasing water down about 25 feet
It very low and alot of hazards
Surface temp 85° today
Be careful if your planning on fishing there.

There dropping Eastman Lake was up the this afternoon it's down 8-10 feet and there no water in it now but there still dropping it. Fishing good but alot of hazards be careful.

You cant blame tournament anglers that are going to be bring dead fish to the scales
for this tournament. But you can educate tournament directors on what stress it will do to that fishery at that time of the year and the heat won't be kind. Good luck keeping your fish alive.

I ordered 10,000 mustard black nickel hooks from one of the vendor I deal with they told me I might get them 2nd week in april or 1st week of may. The vendor told me covid was slowing them down from getting there order out do to back orders

I wouldn't miss fishing Eastman or Hensley lakes right now with this weather the past several days the bass are in 18 to 25 feet of water on both lakes. Don't let the water color at Eastman keep you off. The bass are in 4 or 5 areas on Eastman and 2 or 3 areas on Hensley.

Well I finally did it

52 years I've been riding in boats and I never fell out once. But today I didn't have my PFD on and I fell out on the cement made a good step getting out but my foot didn't turn and out I went. I was installing new graph and trolling motor I got it all done but it just took a tad longer after my fall.

DFG should ask why they lost that many fish not only ask wonbass and anglers involved with there boats used why there wasn't better care for the fish. 97% return rate is exceptable. In any tournament.
