Re: Ban the A-rig in tournaments petition. Some very well kn

I wonder how many of the "ban the A-rig" guys would have voted to ban flipping when Mr. Thomas was kicking *** with it? It was "too easy". It was "unfair". Just wondering. No bait or technique will ever be the be all, end all to bass fishing. The anglers and the bass wi...

Re: Who Catches The Fish, Guide or Client ????

Clearly you're refering to Johnny C. I have fished with him and would not hesitate to hire him again. He did fish some but mostly he was telling us what to do and explaining why we were doing it. Exactly what I was paying for. When he did pick up a rod, it was when the bite had slowed. He would try ...

I've been there several times. The previous post is exactly right. The trails are a bitch and Mississippi is by far the best. All the ponds are loaded with bass but they're biggest in Mississippi.(not big, but bigger) There's a good camping spot at the end furthest from the dam. Nice and flat and th...

I highly recomend Tracy Bass. They have open and amatuer series. Resonable entries, good payback, good people and a nice marina. Also an excelent tackle shop and a resteraunt/bar where you can have a hot breakfast in the morning and a drink in the afternoon. What more could you ask for? Even launch ...

I don't like the 1 in 3 either. I fish to win or at least top 10%. Top 1/3 to get part of my money back doesn't mean anything. I chose to fish ABA this year because of the larger turn outs and the level of competition there. (delta circuit) If the turn out drops and the names don't show, it loses a ...

Long you bring up a very good point, which is exactly why the rule needs to be changed. A D.Q. is to harsh a penalty. What many are missing also is the rules state you are subject to D.Q. Which means to me that it is the TD's decision to make a penalty call. I think it would be more reasonable to c...

For all you people saying he made a mistake and "attempted" to cheat , you are wrong! It was no mistake. The whole thing was premeditated and fully intentional. He did not attempt to cheat. He cheated. Not once but at least 10 times. They found 10 weights. That's ten acts of cheating. I wo...

No you can't lift the fish with the x tool floats. In fact, they're usually floating around the live well without fish on them at the end of the day. The scale is horrible too. I could weigh the same fish 3 or 4 times and get a variance of up to 1/2 POUND ! Absolutely useless. I liked the idea of th...

The Hook is not the only low cost, amature level series on the delta. To make an informed decision on which to choose, you need the information. I, personally , prefer a decent chance at getting my money back. I'm not looking to get rich but to make my hobby pay for itself . I mean no offense to Gen...

Tincan, if you're looking for areas without vegetation , you're most likely looking for areas without fish. The bite was tuff this weekend. You were trying the right things, but the bite is tuff and they're hard to pattern right now. As far as what areas are better..... time on the water. Lots and l...

Guy, sign up and fish. You won't be disapointed. Larry puts on a good show. He's listening to the anglers and doing his best to give us what we want. It's a tough time to be starting a new circuit. You don't need a sign up partner. Just sign up early and you'll get paired up. Why wait till next year...
