Re: Encroachment Rule for Team Tournies....

It never bothered me while fishing out of my boat. I would fish against anybody. Or in traffic with many boats. If they think they are better, let em try to come over and outfish me right next to me. A guy can get to the point of controlling that bit of water, and sticking good fish right under ever...

I fished the last Delta Open in 2001.

Dub La Shot was telling Don Iovino that they didn't fill the field.

Don said, "Thats it.

Re: Best Tide For Punching The Delta?

Any tide.

One bitch about braid when it came out was that it dug into the spooled line upon set.

When punching you can use that "dig in" to remember exactly where or how far down that fish was in relation to the cover.

Comes in handy figuring out depths while punching.

Pirates Lair Restaurant open for the season

I stopped in for breakfast, and the next day for a burger, fries, and a Sierra Nevada.

Pretty good.

If you get hungry out there, swing in to the guest dock and take a break.

Located at the confluence of Mokelumne and San Joaquin.

Open from 8 to 3.

Bang spray tends to lubricate lures.

There was another Craw formula from another company that had adhesive in it to stick to the lures, but it also made the baits stickier to the grass.

Today with cell phones, it may not be that big of a deal.

Black with either red or blue or just black.

Brown, you can add purple and get the whole peanut butter/jelly thing going on.
