After driving 90 miles to the lake my friend's mercury did the same thing. After driving back home he remembered that he had changed the fuel and found that he had put it backwards...something easy to check.

Quagga muscle clarification
If I go to Lake Pyramid on the 1st day of the month, what day of the month can I then go to Lake Castaic? Without going into detail and embarrassing myself or the employees, I'm getting different info from each place. Appreciate clarification perhaps from someone who did the immediate turn around.

Thanks for input guys. I'm still researching (limited budget) but at this point I'm leaning towards the Okuma. Mark, I have a 19' 1994 Champion. There are no caps on the ends and I think I'm hitting the trolling motor wiring. I moved the wiring around and got a few more inches than before.

I went to Castaic tuesday. I only fished in the fish arm and saw tons of roaming bass in the backs of coves...caught about a dozen to 3 1/2 lbs all on drop shot Robo worms. The water temp was 53 in the morning and warmed to 58 in the afternoon. Water was clear.

I have two 332's on by boat and had the same problem. Occasionally the one on the trolling motor would work fine and then for some reason only show the bottom with nothing in between. Sometimes it would also show a depth that was not correct. A new transducer on the trolling motor fixed the problem....

Piru will be closed. I was there today and there was a sign at the entrance indicating the lake will be closed on Christmas day. Castaic has always been closed. Check their web site to be sure though.

I need to replace a wheel bearing on a 1994 Champion trailer but do not know the size I need (didn't notice that the bearing buddy somehow fell off prior to launching).
