Re: Non-Tox shotshell options for older guns

Thanks for the reply, I actually ended up getting a new benelli nova and am shooting steel shot now because I like shooting a shell for under a $1 better then shooting the hevi-shot or bismuth that is pushing $4 a shell. I know the latter two are much better shells. The side by side is going to stay...

Non-Tox shotshell options for older guns

Does anyone the options for an older 12gauge shotgun for duck hunting. I know that Bismuth is safe for it but it is getting harder to find since I had heard that the bismuth company went out of business. What about those Tungsten shells like Hevi-Shot. On their website they say it is safe. Do any of...

I agree with you bill K.

Don't do it at a Bass Pro Shops or a fishing store, those are the places that are there for us fisherman. Go do it at a wakeboard convention or something like that.

Sorry for everyone else that reads this, but I posted some time ago about where to find the junior D's and I am looking for that person that wrote back to me with a phone number saying that they have a bunch. Clicking while humminbird 987si transducer is on

Do any of you guys also notice it...... while my humminbird 987si is on the transducer puts out a pretty loud clicking sound. From all of your experiences, will this affect the fishing? Do you recommend that everytime I pull up to a spot I should turn my transducer off? I know Gary Dobyns runs Hummi...

Re: Suspending crankbait?

I've used the suspend strips to try and get some of my floaters to suspend but I put 6 strips on a bomber model A and it still would float, just slower. I am looking for a variety that dive to 4ft. and some to 10ft.

Does anyone know of any companies that make a suspending crankbait. Not a long slender jerkbait. I am looking for one that still looks and runs like a crankbait. Re: Is the Navionics premium card worth it

Does anyone know a way of viewing a sample of it for the delta, like a screen shot of it? How detailed is it on the delta, does it show tides and depth contours? and what are the depth contour incriments, 10ft or 5ft or 1ft? Thanks for all the help, I am on the fence whether I want to purchase one o...

I was thinking of getting one of those navionics premium cards for the west here. Is it worth it if I almost exclusively only fish the delta? I have heard it is great for all the lakes but I was wondering what advantages it will give me for the delta. I have humminbird 987 so the platinum version wo...

I have the 987 csi Mine is also side imaging and color and gps and all that good stuff. The 987 was made first about 2 years ago and then last year they upgraded it to the 997. So to me it looks the same but I am just curious if anyone knows what changes they made.

Humminbird 987 v 997?

Does anybody know what the difference is between the 987 unit and the 997 unit? I have the 987 unit and a chance to upgrade to the 997 but it would cost me a little bit, but it would be a screaming deal.

My question is...... would it be worth it?

Thanks

How much line?

How much line do you need on your reel. With the price of line out there, is 50 yards enough or do you need 75 yards or do some of you use more or less than that. I'm guessing 50 yards should be good.

How much line do all of you put on your reels, to get the most out of some of those filler spools.

Re: Tech question....HELP!!!

Hey Alex, I've got a smaller 17ft. skeeter with a yamaha 90 four stroke on it. I had a similar problem in that it wouldn't get on plane without someone standing on the bow or sometimes it would eventually get up on its own and then run pretty well once on plane. Checked fuel lines and air intakes an...

Thanks for all the info. I had a great time there on sat. I caught my PB which is only 6.4 but I was stoked nonetheless. We also caught numerous 3-5 lb fish. They were all over.
