Re: Still NO FISHING at Clear Lake
As I said, I don't really want to get into this again because it doesn't go anywhere (so this will be my last post on the subject). I agree, conversations on this don't seem to be progressing. I think that we probably agree more than we disagree on this subject. I certainly do not think that ignora...

Re: Still NO FISHING at Clear Lake
Sorry, I deleted my post (that I think you're replying to) because I'd made a commitment to not get into these discussions again. (The basic point was that Lake County only has 6 ICU beds and is thus incredibly vulnerable to an outbreak, which in turn informs local county policy in a county that is...

Sarcasm?Maybe it's because they can't afford to staff the lake properly because their tax-revenue base is gone.
You can fish from shore and you can Kayak but you can't fish from a kayak? Must be the tax revenue! That makes no sense.

Call Tackle Warehouse and let them know the rod is damaged...they will send a return shipping label for you to use, they are really good about this. You do not want a graphite rod to have any type of scratches or dings in it, they will break when stressed if they do.

The 20% who get free entries is not 20% of the people at each event on average, but 20% of the average particpation for the year. To average 150 boats you would have 600 entries over 4 events, so obviously 30 guys getting free the following year would be 5% of 600 total entries. And that's next sea...

Re: Ban the A-rig in tournaments petition. Some very well kn
I think the petition to ban the A-rig is a noble one. There could be those who might claim it's a senseless and silly thought process, it's just a lure with multiple hooks and baits. But therein lies the problem, it is indeed a rig of multiple lures. It reality, it's a smaller version of a down rig...

Re: Ban the A-rig in tournaments petition. Some very well kn
I have to say that I agree with the new BASS rule of one rod, one reel, one bait. Tournaments should be a test of the anglers skill and the a-rig takes a lot of the anglers skill out of the equation just as live bait does.
