In addition to what the others have said, if you want some numbers, pick up a crankbait the last hour of daylight and hit as much of the east bank of the lake as you can. Can be lights out from feb-april.

My daughters boyfriend just bought a 1988 Ranger 363V w/o windshields. He cant afford ranger "new" prices, so I thought I would ask. You can PM me if you'd like.

Hollywoood,

Were you on the second paved ramp at the dam?

When I was there 7 days ago, it looked like that ramp needed 25 vertical feet to see water.

When I was up there last Monday, it looked like the water needed to come up about 5 vertical feet to hit the bottom end of the new ramp. As of now 2/15 6pm, the lake has come up 2.5 feet since last monday. Hope the water keeps coming.

I would head way, way up the river arm, as far as you can go and throw ricos or michaels, with a buzzbait mixed in in windier areas(This is for early early morning. Think shade and look for it. After that bite dies, I'd head to the main body and dropshot on island tops.

Bass must be 12" mouth closed to be kept. That is why most tournaments make the minimum size limit 13" mouth open so if you get checked by the warden, you are OK as 13" mouth open fish will go 12" mouth shut...........food for thought anyway.
