735 Champion. You can always call Dobyns rods and ask them directly.
Re: Amador...
There is a True Bass episode on here under "videos" that might be helpful to you. It's filmed in the summer.
Re: Amador...
They stock larger than average trout in there than other lakes. 2-4 pound trout is not a food source for bass. Plus all those bigger trout eat a lot baby bass. It is still a good lake, but not as good as it was in the past for bass.

Years ago there were 2 True Bass episodes with Bub Tosh and Ish Monroe. They were on New Melones and McClure. They hanged the way I fished the Mother Lode Lakes. Re: Help with slow trolling stripers
Hello sir. Stripers love live bait. Your technique is correct. The only thing you have to do differently is wait a long time to set the hook. Shad, jumbo minnows, and mudsuckers have soft fins. You still have to wait a while till the striper kills the bait and turns it in it's mouth to swallow it Wh...

It would have to be a Reaction Innovations Vixen. If I had to pick one color, it would be baby bass.
One of the easiest to throw is a Deps Buzzjet; excellent bait around bluegill beds.
