There should be some screws that attach the bottom front of the seat, feel with your hand along the carpet in the front edge, on my 01 thats where they are, when removed just wiggle the seat up there should be a metal bracket in the back that slips into another bracket. Hope that helps Steve

I have both jacket and parka and bibs and the non- insulated is fine for around the Delta, Berryessa and south, but if you fish father north you may want the insulated or dress in layers with the non insulated

Gary Loomis went back to making blanks again and the company that he started is called North Fork Composites out of Washington State, cause Shimano is no longer selling G.Loomis blanks to us Rod builders. Steve

I wish they still made these, I have caught a load of bass on the 1/4 and 3/8oz summer moss jig. I still have a few of the jigs but won't part with them. I used a 3/8 this past weekend on the delta and caught most of my fish on it. Steve

Sure glad I custom build all my lamiglas rods myself so I know I won't have a problem with spinning reel seats and the cost of a blank is way less than a factory rush job.

I use the 6-8 Fluoroclear P-line on my spin outfit and it is without a doubt strong, limp and sensitive. On my baitcasters P-line 15-20 100% fluorocarbon for jigs and worms.

Like Dan, before I started building my own rods also I bought 3 of the Tierra rods MED, MED/HEAVY and a flipp'n stick to replace rods stolen out of the boat. They're nice rods and fish alright and I do on occasions use the med 7' but I like my own custom rods better. Steve

I'd use a 17mm, unless you have real small hands, I build all my rods using Fuji exposed and non-exposed reel seats using a 17mm very comfortable on the hand. Steve

Got them all over my 01 Triton and was told they would fix the cracks but I would have to take it up to Red Bluff to have it done and it would take awhile due to the back log the guy had, needless to say I said forget that I'll learn how to do it myself. Steve

Stayed most of the day in the Moke and caught 20 mostly on black/blue Senkos and my punching rig with a june bug Brush Hog, most of the bass were small and nothing over 4lbs. Steve

I fished on the Moke yesterday and was punching the weeds on the out going tide, just fished it where there were fast drop off's into 14 feet and did manage to stick a nice 8.9, water was almost Gin clear. Steve

Check with DHM Enterprises in Sac. They have a web site so just type in DHM Enterprises on yahoo or any other one you use. Got my brake pads and brake parts from them for my Triton. They also work on trailers. Steve

I just got done building a Lamiglas 7'2" split grip heavy action rod for Frogs and have to tell you it is a beast, Plenty of back bone and will cast a frog far into the slop. Frist tried it out at Clear lake to put it through it's test and it fished great, When you stick a bass with that blank ...

What an awesome swimbait. My buddy and I caught 2 bass 30 minutes apart at Clear Lake today over 10 pounds. Are 5 best went 34 pounds and in the wind with lots of hook ups. No big price tag on these baits. Steve

The rear tires wear the fastest due to the brakes, You might want to check the the air in the tires to make sure that all are inflated the same and also maybe rotate and have them blanced. Hope this helps Steve

Just go out and get yourself a spool of the above mentioned lines and choose for yourself. You're the best judge for want you like. I personaly fish P-line on just about all my rods and reels eccept for 3 and I use Stren Braid, it's because I like that line and it has worked for me. Steve

It's hard to believe that these states have the money to put up on a Bassmasters Tourney, some of the states mentioned for tournaments are some of the poorest states in the union.

Dual Pro is the way to go, have had mine for 6 years with no problems and a onboard charger that charges the trolling motor batteries on the go.
