That's awesome.....also heard that Lowrance stepped it up to and is giving away an HDS7 along with Nav chip for the winner of each flight? So bummed I couldn't be there for the event but next year for sure... I'm glad to see that BPS shut up all the sh$t talkers by still giving away boat for this ev...

Littlebailey, are you fricking kidding me....after all the debate you and I have had in PM's the last couple days about your criticism of overlap with a Pro-Am tournament on the Delta vs the 2 day team tourney in Havasu several hundred miles away and you aren't even signed up for the Won PRO-AM yet....

Kit jack....I think u make a good point, which I believe is the foundation for club tourneys, which are stepping stones to team tourneys...I think that the entry fees are reasonable for the types of events these organizations put on...I like the paybacks even though I don't see them very often..haha...

Paul..sounds like its time for you to step up and start your own circuit since you have it all figured out and how they should be run? Or better yet step up and only fish the major circuits where you can prove what a dominate force you are...you wouldn't have the time to criticize without the facts,...

It is a great technique...some of us saltwater bass guys have been using them for the past 6 or 7 years for Calicos...they work killer in the kelp forrest with 65 lb braid and 20-40lb flouro topshot. 3/4 to 1 1/2 oz is standard....for the largemouth 1/2 to 3/4 has worked best for me...I love throwin...

There is no rule about not being able to follow an angler around all day if you want to see where and how they catch fish....There is also no rule about using that info and going back to the exact same spot you saw these guys catch fish and throw the same baits you saw them throw... Did they really catch them on frogs? I saw an episode where they trolled giant plugs for them, but no topwater. They do look like giant bass, only they have small heads in comparison. Haha....I don't know what they caught them on, but I was just laughing thinking about the appropriate size frog you...

Stripers and Carp don't count....they have to be green or brown. It's possible to get that kind of limit as a newbie...but game day will be the test...Pictures woulda made it a little more credible though. Jay, you are right...these guys are just big fish in a small pond..nothing to be worried about especially since you have the pedigree coming from Texas. I don't think anyone who fishes this place has ever placed well in a national event like FLW or BASS? Like Paul, said you should be able to do real...
