Just a theory, I'm looking into a similar setup for my boat. I have a 7' tall custom built rod safe. It is 2' wide x 18" deep. When in use, I could easily get 15 of my most valuable rod/reel combos in with not problems. I believe I had 7' 2" rods stored at a diagonal. The safe is fireproof for 45 minutes at 1,500*F. The combination is not your typic...
