Yes well in advance. I was in Tahoe for Christmas last year, and it snowed for two days, I was worried about getting home but 2 days later the roads were clear. We didn't even need chains.

Greg, it all depends on the snow. I've been to Tahoe twice for Thanksgiving one was great one was slow going because of the snow. They usually keep 80 clear except for the worst of storms. just be careful on the down slope with chains and braking.

Being from the part of the Valley that is suffering i think I"m ahead of the curve. My dad worked at Giffen farms for 25+ yrs i guess he would have been considered a cooperate farmer. NOBODY treated my dad better! Alot of these cooperate farms you here about are families that have incorporated....

Toss up for me :? I've never been high on Mcain, and tonite did'nt change my mind. Obama seemed more composed, and confident. Mcain had some good points. My only objection to Mcain would to make eye contact with Obama. That is my take from the far right.
