I lived in Minnesota for three years. The braid will be fine. Maybe you get lucky and tie into a Musky. I would bring some SB rods if it were me and some bass med action rods in case you only find small northerns. Good luck and have fun

Clearlake Cottages is really the only place to stay. They also have a pool Sotheby's wife and kids can do that while you fish. This is what I do to keep them busy.

I have stayed at the extended stay on March Avenue. That is a decent area so you should be fine. I always put the cover on and remove the HDS units.

I had the puck antenna removed from my boat. This left a quarter size hole in the bow of the boat.

Any suggestions on plugging the hole. Does Ranger sell anything. The boat is a 2009 Ranger 188VX.
