Re: fishing in north california
your going to have to get out in the deeper water to get a decent bite, years past I have picked up some good spots this time of year. you just cant get to those areas consistently from the bank.

Re: Hey Non-Boaters........
You non boats that offer 50 bucks is great, and even if half the expenses were that amount, i wouldn't accept it because you stepped up to the offer. If non boaters had that kind of money they probably would have their own boat. Regardless of non boater availability in a tourney, I would still fish ...

Re: what brand of gas is better
My understanding is Techron is not an additive to increase mileage, it is a detergent to reduce carbon build up on rings, which is a major contributor to blowing up outboards. Has anyone heard the same?

How can I get boat carpet to have that new look again?
Boat is only a year old and already looks terrible with various stains, no wear marks yet. Does anyone have any tricks to make look new again. Thought about a steamcleaner, but seams a little cumbersome and awkward.

Re: info on Bass lake
true, the lake will probably be a zoo for Easter weekend, but they dont enforce the boat registration until the week before memorial day. The lake is still low for this time year.
Re: Eastman (closure area antics)
Mark, he did tell me the fine was $175.00. What gets me is that the ranger is not able to get a bassman to take him back to closed zone on a regular basis, so probably many days it goes unchecked. I would volunteer to take him if he would be ticketing
Re: Eastman (closure area antics)
Last week I was up at Eastman and a bass guy told the ranger their were boats in the closed zone, the ranger walks down to the ramp as I was getting ready to load my boat and asks me for a ride to go check on it. Sure enough, not 1 but 3 boats back there. 2 were bass boats and not one ticket issued,...

Re: Mark Lassagne - Re: Rock Throwers & Harrassers
Not to beat a dead horse, but do these legalities you folks are talkin about apply to lakes? I have fished marina areas at 2 lakes (that were not cabled or buoyed off) and was told to leave because I was fishing on private property, and 1 of them was actually a spot I was catching tournament quality...
