Fishing lake Oroville low water levels

Guys, low water like these days always had some of the best fishing days I have ever had in past years. Get out and get those spots. I'm getting close to closing on a home up here in Washington, with luck in the next 2-3 weeks. After getting moved in will work at a small boat and begin fishing bass,...

Re: No more Oroville Fishing for me, maybe never again

Many thanks everyone. Still not sure if home standing, but maps show it burned, but guess a tiny, tiny chance not burned. If standing will fish those spots again, but definately have to move, can not live in an area that looks like it does. Yes Joe, slow your roll, your leaving fish behind and alway...

I,m one of the hundreds of homes burned out in Magalia, fairly sure from what we have seen. Wanted to say see ya later and how much pleasre it has been taking about fishing on this forum. Never know, might be back, but guessing not. Think were moving to Washington, get me another boat, tackle, etc, ...

Fishing Oroville Lake 11/01/2018

Another rough launch at Bidwell at 6:30 am, but no water into the boat this time. Decent bite, found a place that kept me out of the winds, fishing about 75-100 foot of shoreline the entire trip. Slower fishing does better with spots, once you find the fish, hang in the general area longer, rather t...

Thanks, thought about that lots, but jumping over the trolling motor in front is a slight issue for me when launching and putting back in the trailer. Appreciate your thought, but so used to working the boat backwards, will keep it the same as now, just add a piece of wood to keep my foot dry.

Since it's not a bass boat, have to go backwards with trolling motor and me facing the rear with a foot in the gas tank area. Just an inch or so of water, might add a small wood piece to keep my foot high and dry!! Thanks, got me thinking about a fix.
