i used them on another rod, they don't look like they belong on the rod, they work great but its kinda of weird looking with a bigger tip. tried the smaller ones but they don't fit. Will see if I can find some smaller that have the right diameter

Anyone know where I can order/ purchase some rod tips for Powell rods. I broke mine this weekend and want to get it replaced, broek right at the tip leading edge.. the rest of the rod is fine. Model 684CEF. Might as well get some extras

Assuming you talking of the LSS-1, can it even be put on a tracker as I don't have a jack plate and putting on the bottom will subject it to being ripped off. Can the LSS-1 be epoxied like a puck to the inside

BSFG, I have the HDS 7, my manual I just looked at doesn't have any adjustments for daylight savings time. Looks like you'll have to manually adjust when the clocks change. I just bought the Markey super double as well. With so many swim baits I need one now for my 8 inch and up baits and one for my line thru baits. If I can find the hardware I'll do it myself and save some $$, depending on the cost of the hardware and boxes

Any one have problems with the HDS units 5 -10 resetting themselves if they receive shock from a hard wave or bouncing? I have a HDS-7 on my tracker 17.5 and it re-set itself when i bounced a wave. I USE A 1500 HONDA GEN WHEN I GO CAMPING TO LAKE SAN ANTONIO. WORKS FINE USUALLY CHARGES THE BOAT BATTERIES IN LESS TIME THAN IT DOES TO RUN OUT OF GAS, AND CAN USE THE GEN TO CHARGE UP MY CAMPER

YEP, FLW got me for $795. So now that I'm earning Unearned income for winning at fishing, can I also deduct my losses at not winning at fishing...which is alot more in losses than winnngs... :shock:

Broke the $900 by $300, but at least I can get the navionics chip later for around $103 and structure scan later (much later). Should have it before I need to go fishing again

I broke my transducer on the transom of my Tracker 17 last time I was out, (didn't notice until I went to clean the boat last weekend). Since I have to replace the transducer at a minimum (removing a bunch of decking) I was considering upgrading to a better GPS capable system while the decks are ope...

I mark mine with a UV marker. either my last four or my DL, rods, reels, electronics, scales, everything. Then depending on the location its coverd in clear epoxy so it can't be wiped off or scraped off without looking like its been sanded/filed

Big Ed..of course the hot maps chip is a separate purchase for the LCX? It comes with USBase map, nautic or lake insight maps.

If I understand correctly you can link two together one at the bow and another at the console? Can you mark waypoints and find your way back with them, does it require an external or internal antennae.
