Re: Buying boat with Oregon Title

From the EZ Loader website: The Vehicle Identification Number is located on a silver sticker at the front of the trailer on the inside of the rail on the passenger side. A decal is also placed on the bottom of the tongue of the trailer. For EZ Loader Custom Trailers only, if the silver sticker is fa...

Bass Pro Group bought Fishing Holdings LLC in 2014. Fishing Holdings LLC was the parent company of Ranger, Triton Boats and Stratos...

Re: life vests

As previously stated, everyone has different preferences with PFD's. Get one that you are comfortable wearing for extended periods of time. When trying on PFD's, make sure you wear clothing and jackets that simulate what you'd be wearing while on the boat to ensure you have the right fit. If you do ...

Those are Box Link tie downs. They could be Ford OEM, but there are several after market suppliers. You might talk with your local Ford dealer and ask if the key code numbers are OEM.

Re: Bluegills of lake tahoe (video)

The side canal at 15th Street and Venice Drive is one area in Tahoe Keys to catch bluegill and small bass. Not a secret location by any means. There are other areas along some of the roads, but make sure the access is not posted "No Trespassing". If you can get access to main waterway in ...

Did you try holding the thumb bar up when sliding on side plate and inserting the screws. This helps with alignment of the push rod for the thumb bar. I only have older Curados and this seems to work for me.

Re: Truck selection for boat towing

Don't know if electric brakes are being used on new rigs, but electric brake systems were an option on some older trailers. Also, some people have retrofitted bass boat trailers to electric brakes claiming to be more dependable than surge brakes. I prefer the hydraulic surge brakes that most bass bo...

Re: Truck selection for boat towing

Some trucks with tow packages also include trailer brake controllers, which is needed if your trailer is equipped with electronic brakes.

As mentioned by birdman920, the ability to stop is just as important as going forward.

If it has a motor, it must be registered in CA, regardless of length. The 8 foot length rule applies to sail-driven boats.

In the CA Fish and Wildlife website, you need to create a customer profile in order to purchase the actual license on line. Purchasing as a "guest" will only get you a voucher.

Re: Stolen Boat in CA Delta

Sorry to hear about your boat. What brand/type of fishing gear do you use? Any unique markings on rods or reels? What about engine serial number? Any information can be helpful to identify gear that may show up at flea markets or online sales.
