voltage regulator tech question
I'm looking to replace my voltage regulator (883072T) and while shopping online it appears it can be replaced with a 815279T. Are the two interchangeable? It seems like the 815279T is quite a bit cheaper? What is the difference from other aftermarket regulators like Sierra or Mallory? And if I under...

Thanks for the help guys..I got the boat pulled out of the marina and took the cowling off. When I hit the button I can hear one of the relays click just before the motor starts turning...I also checked the fluid and it appears to be ok. When it was in the water I didn't see any fluid coming from it...

I was coming back in after trying to catch some stripers out in Sherman and my motor wouldn't trim...I could hear the trim motor spinning but it was like it wasn't hooking up with the motor to lift or go down...Has this happened to anyone else? Try this one, it gives the wind speed in 20 minute increments at bouy 14 on the Sacramento in front of Sherman Island. It gives you a good idea what Sherman Lake is doing. I call it everyday on the way home from work.

My Minn Kota just started acting up...When I turn the motor down below 30 on the speed it won't start up? Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem may be? It seems to run fine @ 35 or higher. I've got a Minn Kota 74 with Universal Sonar.

If your launching a bass boat you won't have any problems...Some larger cruiser type boats have problems at low tide. With recent storms it seems the Delta has muddied quite a bit. Why the O Ring or super glew? Just got by first two punkers, tried them out with 20 lb Big Game and on long casts had trouble walking the bait. When the bait got closer it walked better I'm thinking because it was too much stretch. Switching back to braid to try it again.

The only thing that I have to say is your going to be sorry. You mentioned you have kept your boat garaged which tells me your boat probably looks in new condition. Putting your boat in a slip is going to make it age really fast. Even though it's in a covered slip, you still have the problems with b...

I use a piece of thin wire cut about six inches long. Place the jig in a vice. Lay the wire in the palm of your left hand and hold the skirt to jig with the fingertips of your left hand. Then bring both ends of the wire straight up around the material and collar of the jig. Cross the wire, and then ...
