Unfortunately skin cancer from sun exposure is common, we all have spent lots of time in the sun when we are young and naive, the damage isn't reversible. Sorry Bo....we only make a fore grip on our Swim bait rods and I'm getting lots of emails and messages to take it off them too. The way most guys hold a bass rod, the fore grip is not used at all..... and this lets you get fingers right on the blank as well. Sorry bud!!! there is a rhyme and reason...

i would have to have a jig. a jig can be used to fish lots of other plastics, including senkos. jigs are not just for fishing a skirted jig.

A couple of dowels to represent the mouth of a bass is a little far fetched. A bass inhales and then crushes it's prey so I doubt that a single weed guard would ever cause the bait to roll on it's side during hookset. The weedguard should never be stiff enough to do that.
