26 Raker

I have a virtually new Original Raker 26, only on the boat for a run up and back on the lake. Was going to get it blue printed for a Z520 with 250 HO Etec. Raker is harder steel than a Raker II so it's good prop for getting this done. $265 shipped text 541-521-1401

Would you Pay the extra $$$$

I know bass boats are really getting expensive and any increase in cost could limit some of the buyers available in the secondary market. My question is would you Pay the extra 5 to 7 K for a boat with a Lithium battery system. I am thinking it's not worth it, but just wanted hear other opinions. Do...

If you have a spare 2D transducer of any type that is compatible with the unit, pull the unit out while on the water and try the individual transducers first minus the y cable if both work and your unit is working replace the Y cable. If the 2 D transducer doesn't work hold a new one of over the sid...

Raker is made out of harder stainless steel, you can do more with one if you want to really tune the prop for your boat motor combination. I got this one to have it blue printed for my current rig just never got around to getting it done. It's only been in the water a few runs up and down the lake t...

To me it's sad we can't get more numbers this year. I feel for the Co's especially the ones doing well after the first 2 events. We had 99 at Mead and if we're around 120 that would mean only about 20 locals signed up just for this event. I hope they come back next year with a good schedule and the ...

Re: Need help with punching in the delta

One thing that I have found is sometimes using lighter braid in the 30-40 pound class. The smaller diameter seems to go down easier and also at times seems to cut the weeds better. If the fish are way in the back of the mat, 65 pound is often needed to winch them in when there is no way the line is ...

Actually there are largemouth in more areas than you might think. My brother-in-law caught an 11 pounder in O'brian arm some years ago and it was spawned out. The last time the water got high like this and it stayed that way for a couple of years the largemouth population grew quite nicely. I can re...

My advise to you is look the boat over very carefully! See what are the standard features and what the options you want do to the price of the boat. Look at the finishes in all the rod lockers and storage compartmemnts. Then take it for a drive you should always compare boats before buying one. Look...

This is a loaded question for sure. I see few different types of professional anglers. 1. Those who fish full time and have no other employment 2. Those who fish part time and have other income 3. Those who fish just because they have the time and $ I would consider anyone who does more than just fi...

Lets just face it Mead just is not popular with the Anglers. That being said if you want to be a professional angler you just go fish where they have the events. You have to have the belief in your skills as an angler to compete anywhere at anytime!
