Hollow body frogs...

What does everyone prefer when it comes to hollow body frogs? Silent or Rattle? I’m trying to really fine tune my frog fishing this year. I’d really like to know what your opinions are as well as the advantages and disadvantages to both the silent and rattle hollow body frogs. - When do you prefer a...

Re: Retired from fishing

I went to Kens last Saturday and purchased quite a few baits and plastics. He has a TON of plastics, crankbaits, rods/ reels, terminal tackle etc. For anyone looking for a huge selection of baits, I’d give Ken a call. He was a pleasure to deal with, very fair, and has CHEAP prices. Thanks for all th...

Re: Corrections, Police and Fire Fish Off

Mario puts on a great tournament. If you’ve never fished this tourney, I’d highly recommend it. Well ran, great payout, great people and a lot of fun. My partner and I fished this last year and finished 2nd place. We will definitely be fishing it again this year. Can’t wait.

I agree with Robb R 100%. It has happened to me in the past and I've let it go, but now, I say something. I'm mellow and respectful while I explain "etiquette" to whoever it is. If they don't seem to get it or intentionally ignore my respectful explanation, game on. I move directly in fron...

Re: Attention Delta Bass Fishermen, Restrictions Still in affect!

First off, I completely agree with the closures/speed limitations 1hour before/1 hour after high tide. I haven't seen ANY posting of any limitations at any of the ramps I've launched at in the past month. If an angler doesn't get onto Western Bass, or doesn't research the closures on the Internet, h...

I know the problem has already been solved, but I dealt with a similar situation a few months ago and wanted to share some info in case anyone else has a similar situation in the future. Was up there yesterday and launched out of Red Bud. No issues, and no signs of any fire up there (unless the fire started after we left in the late afternoon.). You should be good to go.

Re: Best online source for fishing supplies

Yes!!! Lastchancetackle.com (sorry Megan, didn't mention you guys in my previous post). Lastchancetackle definitely has some hard to find baits. There's been many times they're the only online site that has the exact bait/ exact color I need when no other site has it. They've definitely come through...

Call Dan at Reelex. You WILL NOT find a better reel service. I have a very high expectation for customer service and Dan has far exceeded it both times he's serviced my reels. Re: First boat help

Bought my first boat a year ago. An aluminum 14' Klamath. It was perfect "first boat" for me. Easy to handle, extremely light weight, and it taught me a lot about operating/ owing a boat. Super clean and solid little boat, but I realized real quick that it was not big enough for me and it ...
