Most States have low cost to fish, low or no licenses fees for retired anglers, public launches are free and very good bass fishing. If California infects America with out taxes and general political theology where can we move?

Agree and magnify the boat noise impact on our smaller high pressured bass lakes.
Mike Lembeck performed a 3 year tracking study in the early 70’s in San Diego lakes and worth reading!

PS,Micheal was a Japanese slim fast retrieve version of the Pop-R, Rico the Rick Clunn version. Iovino put it all together with his Splash-It and still catching bass.

Post released LMB behave as individuals, some travel back to where they were caught and others travel short distances or stay where released if conditions are favorable.

Stradic 4000 is aluminum but has a good anodiccoating like Calcutta reels and is salt water compatible if not abused. Vanford is composite and salt water comparable, not as ridged frame as Stradic.
Shimano Twinpower 4000 is the ultimate big Striper spinning reel, look at JDM sites.

Comes down to how the 7” Senko is rigged; Wacky weightless, Wackly Neko or weedless Texas.
Owner Wacky weedless Jungle hook rig wacky or Neko ant decent worm rod works good. Weedless T-rig 5 power/MH+ JWR rods work.
