I've looked at Anglers and they don't have anything in stock that I'm interested in. I agree that the cost of used boats is higher than normal but that can be said of most things. Does anyone have a company or Bank they recommend for financing a used boat? My credit union is the worst when it comes to boat loans. Salt springs question
I’m going to try Salt Springs Res tomorrow for the first time.
Do they have a specific time they open? I couldn’t get information on the website.
Also, having never been there, are there any hazards In the water to be aware of?
I appreciate the help.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I would hope this is a non-issue with most boaters. We've all seen videos and heard stories, a kill switch seems like common sense. Common sense isn’t very common anymore unfortunately. I still see countless guys running without PFDs. I pray they don’t become a stat...

Dobyns Sierra 735 to trade
I have a Dobyns 735 Sierra that I don’t need. It has one small piece missing off the very butt of the cork from getting pinched in my trolling motor. It didn’t effect the blank.
I’d like to trade it for a 704,734 or 795 SB. If not I’ll sell it.
If you have one to trade let me know.

Does Turner cut or Tiki Lagoon keep their launches open with a drop box to pay?
I usually don't launch there but I'm going to try to squeeze in some time before work on Monday but will be launching early.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the responses. Oddly enough I picked up some of the Owner CPS hooks today. In case I wasn't clear in my initial comment. Punching hook question
I primarily fish the D and have punched for years. Besides frogging it's by far my favorite way to catch em. However, I HATE using a straight shank hook and Snell knot combo. I cannot keep the hook from punching through the bait and snagging the cover on the way in and out. Which leads to wasted tim...

Is duck season still open? Unfortunately no... I saw the same thing recently. Last year I found the remains of what would have been a solid 10. Its truly unfortunate how the D is taking such a decline between the spraying/pellets & sea lions. It's still an amazing fishery but a shell of itself.

Re: Is the ca delta about to bust open?
If the temps rise it'll improve the reaction bite. The fish are around, just tight lipped. The bite window is small and presentation is everything. If it's not really close you aren't getting bit. The spawn will proceed regardless. Clarity doesn't effect the fish, just the fisherman. That said I boa...

They stock larger than average trout in there than other lakes. 2-4 pound trout is not a food source for bass. Plus all those bigger trout eat a lot baby bass. It is still a good lake, but not as good as it was in the past for bass. That's what I was thinking too. The stockers there now are typical...

Lots of options for an A-Rig rod. It depends on how much weight you're chucking. Most of us are using 3/16 or 1/4 oz heads. So even a big XD 10 rod will throw these weights. Many guys are using 795 SB rod but I fell it's too much rod. We have a light swim bait rod call 794 SB with a 12" handle...
