3.5 is a solid motor. I have a friend with the 2.7l does what he needs it for. Shoot me a pm if you'd like with any questions. Been with for for the last 22yrs as a tech.

Keep in mind, towing from SD to Clearlake is a long haul. Plan on 12-13hr road trip with fuel and breaks. Thats leaving SD at midnight and no LA traffic :shock:. Trust me i do it 2-3x a year. Delta and Berryessa will both be about 9-11hr haul. I would recommend fishing Delta first for a few days. Sh...

Cliff, you can get some go-jacks. They slide under the front tires of the trailer and a few pumps your front tires are off the ground and then you can turn/move the boat as if it was on a single axle trailer. Dave, its down south. It takes about an hour to lift the cab. It makes it so much easier to torque the heads or access anything on the engine.

You can add anything you want to your vehicle. But, when you add aftermarket accessories (i.e suspension lifts, chips, exhausts etc.) you can't blame a dealer/manufacturer for ride, poor performance, driveability issues, squeeks and rattles etc. Take it back to the people who installed it.
