Good advice Woop bass but it is probable secured with zip ties. Still the same process but follow the wires with a pair of side cutters and cut all ties. best to replace them when the new wire is in. It should be pretty easy to get to the wires under the gunnel.

1st off I just fish for fun no tournaments or clubs. I have FFS but just learning how to use it. From your comment about being able to make several cast at a fish live and changing baits until it bites. In my option it no different than bed fishing (which I don't enjoy that much).

I have the same boat with the original 225 pro sx. I love it and all my buddies say its the best ride they have ever been in.

My Solix did the same thing last week. Factory reset fixed it. Take a extra transducer and plug it to the back and drop it overboard to test.

This is just a guess but is that a step mounted on the swing? I'm wondering if it was designed and tested for that? Looking at the crack position on the bottom it might be from the weight on the step. I'm not a engineer so again just a guess.

The hoses came with the Sea Star kit. If I remember correctly they come per order to the length you chose, measure twice too long is better than to short.
