Re: Helix not working right...Help!?
A note about what Mark-C had said about voltage drops, there is a diagnostics page on the Helix units I have (I have G3 units not sure which this is, but probably has the same page) that shows voltage. You can determine if it is a voltage issue pretty quick by pulling up this page and see the voltag...

Re: BassPro/ Tracker review
I bought my tracker from Manteca BPS in 2016. At that time there sales/service department was good. Up until about a year and a half ago I always took it there for service and never had any problems. The last time I took it in to replace a faulty trim pump it was a **** show. I had to call and hassl...

Re: Delta Winds
If you stay outta the big open area's like big break and franks tract you can pretty much always find somewhere to hide from the wind out on the delta. Just gotta find the right levee wall to get behind to tone it down a bit

Re: Releaser or Keeper? Which are you?
Release all green bass as i don't find them anything special to eat. Will keep stripers, crappie, and all stocked trout to eat. Release all wild trouts when flying fishing in streams/rivers which I seldom do anymore since moving to California.

It is not that hard to DIY. If you need it done ASAP sounds like that might be your best bet. I have replaced a few guides myself and tips over the years.

Re: Delta lure colors
They definitely feed on shad and other baitfish in the delta. Too many to list but things like threadfin , golden shiners, hitch, split-tail, pike minnows and probably a whole bunch more that I am missing.

I have 2 Gen 3 Helix's networked and love them. I have lakemaster chips which are awesome for the helix's you can highlight depth ranges and such, great for finding offshore humps and big long points real quick. Only downside is you need to purchase 2 map chips as they cannot share 1 even thought th...

How deep are you dropping your bait in? The shallower the water the small the cone from the sonar is. Dunno if that helps

Re: The Good Ol' Delta Struggle
If you are just cruising down the outside weedline I would also suggest looking for irregularities in the weeds. If you have a weed patch/piece that sticks out a foot further than the weed line think of it like a point on a lake and alot of times those little irrregularities in the grass are where t...

Seems like my thread for kinda hijacked but I understand that we are all just seeking more information from the new WWBT ownership on various issues.
Let's all cross our fingers and perhaps next week we will receive contingency information , official practice days, etc.

WWBT Contingencies????
My buddy and I decided to go ahead and fish the WWBT CA Team Trail this year. I cannot for the life of me find any current information regarding contingency prizes. Has anyone been able to find this information, can we expect it be posted after the holidays? The first Tournament is not to far away J...

Generally as long as your are floating and not making contact with anyones property or the ground underneath the water ;-) you are good to go. They can put up whatever they want but they do not own the water. Whenever i run into shitty people like this I just tell em, "That's God's water, you d...

you can long line your crankbait. make a cast passed your target area, then open spool and use your trolling motor , let a bunch of line out and that should help ya get deeper and stay deeper longer

Teener at Lake Camanche
So the story goes. I moved out to California from Maryland about 2 years ago. Last year I got my first DD on the Delta and my goal this year was to get me one of those freak Teeners. She ended up weighing in at 13.44lbs[ Camanche 13lbs 7oz.jpg Fish of a lifetime, going to be a tough PB to beat but C...
