JRock anytime you are using a.035 spinnerbait you will always run a risk of the bait breaking at the R bend regardless. I must admit the responses above are quite interesting an amusing not one suggested wood list above would i consider making a bait out of Bass wood, sugar pine maple ,cherry etc were not building cabinets but Lures. You first make the mistake by lookin at a Home Depot Or Lows to get wood.

It depends on what tournament circuit you are fishin & in what state. I know for a fact that AC team events on Clear Lake as long as you have the trolling motor down & the big motor " OFF " you can slam into other boats with no problems.

Tannic water is clear water and you get alot of this time of the year because of low levels of freshwater comming in mixed with the mangrove leafs which turn the water in to tea color. Thats some of the very best water to fish.

I'd have to agree with stratos on the Timber crank especially the very frist ones designed by Guido Hibdon. But dont forget the Scout Dance designed it for that reason along with the Baby el crank. Yum & Storm now have take offs of it.

For team tournaments it should always be a Saturday & Sunday for a 2 day tournament. Because Vern there are alot of people out there that have to work 6-10s or even 7-12s in order to keep there job.That I donot believe you understand or has ever crossed you mind.

The NDW made two significant changes in Boating safety regulations. These laws went into effect Oct. 1, 2007. Its mandatory for kids 12 years and younger to wear life jackets at all times. Engine cutoff lanyard wore at all times except for dock maneuvers or trolling for fish under a wakeless speed.
