Re: WTB: iRod Fred's Magic Stick / Dobyns 766 rod or equivalent

Fred's Magic is ok but i don't think it would be ideal given the techniques you listed, I previously owned 2 and didn't love them, they're a little too stiff IMO. They also have pretty small guides which can be an issue for your mono leader assuming you're using a fairly heavy lb test...the Dobyns ...

WTB: iRod Fred's Magic Stick / Dobyns 766 rod or equivalent

Hey everyone, Im looking to buy a rod that will be my "braid rod". Something I will use as a all around braid application. Ill be throwing frogs, big ploppers, jigs, flipping rigs around heavy (ish) cover, and on occasion throwing smaller glide baits and swimbaits (<2oz) with a mono leader...

Costa Bloke Polarized Glasses

Selling my practically new Costa Polarized glasses! They are the Bloke Model in tortoise shell and plastic amber lenses, I've only worn them maybe 4 times. Not a scratch on them. The frames just don't fit my head the way I'd like and I'm passed the return window so I'm passing on a deal to you so I ...

Re: CA DELTA FISHING (Lost and Confused Begginers)

If your launching out of Russo's, you have an awesome place to start right there in Franks Tract. One suggestion I would give you though, would be to hire a guide for the day. You will learn more in that one day than a bunch of trips on your own. Good Luck and good fishing! Awesome thanks! Any sugg...

CA DELTA FISHING (Lost and Confused Begginers)

Hey everyone! My buddy and I just recently started fishing the California Delta, very eager to learn what all this hype is about on an amazing waterway! We normally launch out of either Orwood or Russos marina. We seem to be either only there on the worst days of fishing, or doing something wrong. W...

WTB: Daiwa Tatula Reel

Looking for a Daiwa Tatula reel, 7.3:1 or higher gear ratio. Right Handed Retrieve. I'm fine with any of the variations, CT, Type-R, etc.
Hoping to grab one this weekend, I'm in San Jose but I'm happy to meet somewhere.

    Text me with photos please!

Looking for a great Overall Topwater Rod

First time posting here: Looking to grab a nice topwater rod. something general that has backbone for the bigger spooks and whopper ploppers, but enough tip for smaller poppers if need be. I just started using Dobyns rods so I'm definitely partial to those, but I'd also love to try a Daiwa Rod if an...
