Re: Your Shaky Head Main Line ?
In my post above I explain the difference between the crazy alberto/modified albright and the crystal knot. It has to do with which way the tag end passes through the loop in the main line at the end.chrisD46 wrote:The Berkley Crystal Knot and the Modified Albright / Crazy Alberto knots look the same to me ?

Currently I/m using a double uni knot and am learning the Crazy Alberto (Berkley Crystal , Modified Albright) knot . The Crazy Alberto and the Berkley Crystal are 2 different knots. With the Crazy Alberto the tag end of the braid goes through the loop in the leader from the same side both times. Wi...

Ken, when you say you run the synthetic, are you referring to the synthetic blend or the land and sea? Both are synthetic.

I tried contacting Lucas directly through their website but never got a response. Which of their 2 stroke oils (synthetic blend 2 cycle or 2 cycle land and sea) would be the preferred oil for a Mercury Optimax? Have to agree with Rick... This tournament was held on Lake Fork last Sunday. The entry fee was $150 and over 1800 people fished. Fork has a slot limit, so anything between about 2.75 and 8.50 will be in the slot and can't be weighed. That's why you'll see 2.5 pound fish win a truck. http://www.bass...

Interesting points on both sides. For me, If I'm fishing a tournament and there's someone fishing the bank, I'll go around the area they're fishing unless they tell me it's ok to fish through it. I can go anywhere on the lake, they're limited to where they can go. In all likelihood, that 30 yards of...
