Fishing New Hogan for the first time

I'm taking my first trip to New Hogan this weekend and am looking for any info that might help to make the trip productive.

I of couse checked the Reports first but there are very few and none particularly current.

She said commented to the co-worder riding with her that she could only imagine how bummed I'd have been if it had be me and my boat.

Our club, El Dorado Bass is looking to have about 20 caps made.

The cap would include our logo on the front and name across the back. The style of the hat is "fitted".

Can anyone recommend a local supplier (Folsom area) for good quality caps at a reasonable price?

I've seen this problem in the past and it's typically indicative of a boat that's a lemon.

I would suggest you donate the boat to a youth fishing organization and give ALL of your tackle to one of the members of your Bass club. Preferably someone with the initials P.S.

Are you using a barrel swivel with weightless Senkos? Doesn't it affect the way they fall?

Mark,

Thanks for the suggestion but after failing to get any voltage at the socket (on a voltmeter) I removed the socket and tested back to where the socket plugs into the source wire(s). Still no juice.

I'll check out the BPS red/green light, it may be just the ticket.

I was able to buy one, pre-cut at Buck's Outboard.

If you pull the key part way out of the rubber insert it's in, there's a 3 digit number. Yamaha dealers stock the keys.

$5 for a new one.
