In 05. Bought a new boat. Put 300 hours on it in 2 years. Had my current boat 10 years. Don’t think I’ve put 300 hours on it. No hour meter. Hasn’t been hooked to a computer in 6-7 years. So don’t really know.

Caught more swimbait fish on a 6”Trashfish then all my other swimbaits combined. They have been eating it this summer. 8/0 beast. 17-20 lb florocarbon and let the line sink for a few minutes before starting a very slow retrieve.

Re: Netting Etiquette.... the big question..
In a pro am or tournament that draws co anglers you should discuss netting before you get a fish on.
I remember a tournament where Dee had a am bust off a 10 pounder stabbing at it. I learned from netting Stripers. Hold the net under water hold it still and they don’t spook. Swim them in.

Re: WWN Help
Never scoop at a fish. Have the net out. Have net man hold net under water. Swim the fish into the net. Long as net isn’t moving the fish won’t rush. it’s way better than stabbing at a fish.

Kinda last minute. Most local guides will be booked. Tons of new guys guiding on the lake. Most I’ve ever seen. Some licensed some not. Bob Myskey and Ross England have been doing it longer than any of the other guys. Call the shops if you can’t find anyone.

Remove Predators is a scary statement. Does that mean all the bass, catfish and pelicans. The catfish gorge on them What about Ospreys. I’ve seen them eat lots of Hitch
Drought and stream blockage has been biggest issues for Hitch spawn. Hitch and Bass have coexisted for 100 years.
