Algae comes and goes with warm and cooling spells. Cooler this weekend. Windy days push it towards Redbud. Main lake has been great shape for how hot it’s been. Fishing is better than it has been all year. Keep topwater in your hand

I’ve had 7 Mercury outboards. Only had 2 with a warranty. 1 with a extended warranty. Used the extended warranty once. Injector’s replaced. It’s a gamble with any of them. First real issue on my 07 2 stroke was last week.

Berryessa and other lakes a twin tail grub gets more bites.

Re: Netting Etiquette.... the big question..
In a pro am or tournament that draws co anglers you should discuss netting before you get a fish on.
I remember a tournament where Dee had a am bust off a 10 pounder stabbing at it. I learned from netting Stripers. Hold the net under water hold it still and they don’t spook. Swim them in.

Re: WWN Help
Never scoop at a fish. Have the net out. Have net man hold net under water. Swim the fish into the net. Long as net isn’t moving the fish won’t rush. it’s way better than stabbing at a fish.
