Every tournament trail I’ve fished states in the rules violation of any local, state, or federal law is grounds for disqualification. Don’t want to take a chance so I got my card.

DFG does recognize the problem of fish loss that’s why they have regulations limiting tournaments to 6 hours during the high heat months. I agree air bnb your best bet but if that doesn’t work I have stayed at the Oakley Best Western many times with no issues. They have trailer parking with electrical outlets in the lot. Food and fuel close by with Big Break right down the street. Russo’s in Franks Tract about 15-20 minutes away.

Mc Clure is Merced water district and currently $15 to launch and $13 with senior/military discount. No info if they are raising fees. Pedro is Turlock/ Modesto water district. Too bad clubs are locked in tournament schedules this year. Bites better at McClure anyway.
