This is a hard question basic on time of year, lake or river, weather conditions

Right now on the river

1. wadda jig with a single tail grub
2. speed trap

i tow a 19 foot skeeter with a 2006 frontier, if i recall it was a 4.0L v6 as well.. i had no problems towing the boat up or down hill. i dont think the tocoma has 4 wheel disk brakes like the frontier. I would recommend a bigger truck. But the tacoma will have enough power for a 18 foot bass boat.....

get a 14 foot valco, turn that into a mini bass boat

i had one in a couple years ago with a 25hp motor in the back and 55lb tolling motor up front with a full deck.

that little boat handled the delta and clear lake pretty well..

all you need is a welder and a little bit of imagination

how do the compare to Powell? Let me see how I can put this.. Kobe Bryant = Phenix Rods Lamar Odom = Powell Rods Both are good enough to make it to the "Pro's" but when you really play with/use them, you will know who/which is better.. Hope that helps.. im guessing Michael Jordan = dobyn?...
