I love throwing the buzzbait all year. I try to fish them slow through the pads. I recently got into adding toads to the back for weight/noise and caught a 8.4 that way. I love fishing football jigs, but unfortunately where I am, the lakes don't work well with them. I still buy them in hopes of finding that perfect lake, without muck or heavy grass. The Xtasy DRX 754C will be a rod I try in the future. Sounds like an Arkie Jig would be great in these types of situa...
