Re: Ok, what boat to buy
I agree that all of the boats you've listed are quality hulls. Your experience will be heavily influenced by the accessories you choose: trolling motor, electronics brand/screen size/features/networking, batteries (AGM vs. lithium), charger, etc. Be sure you like the layout of the hull you choose, t...

Re: Lake Berryessa
I was there yesterday. Main ramp, plenty of parking. Everything went smoothly.
Water is dirty up north and on the west side of the lake; east side is better, narrows water had 3-4' visibility.
Good luck!

Re: Markley cove
I was there yesterday. Water is up onto main ramp but it's still closed. The auxiliary ramp worked fine. It's single lane, but with a dock on each side and some slips right nearby so plenty of places to tie up your boat if you're launching or recovering solo.

Re: Lodging near Berry
Please share what you decide on and your experience with a bass boat. I just started fishing Berryessa and would also be interested.

Re: Are Berryessa Ramps Open?
Thanks Beezer. Sounds like it's unlikely to be an issue.
Just hoping to work something out for a good bag on Saturday - I don't know the lake well.

Re: Are Berryessa Ramps Open?
With only 1 lane open should I expect a long wait at Markley Cove to launch at 6:30am on a Saturday morning? Not sure how many people are going out these days.

Yes. Our club launched there last Saturday. It's one lane but otherwise OK.

Re: Where To Stay On the Delta
I often have the same question. Can you share where you stayed and how'd it work out?
I like B&W but they're not always available.

Re: Delta Launch Ramp for Memorial Day Weekend
I decided to try B & W Marina first. Holiday congestion was a complete non-issue. Even on Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend, when I arrived at about 5am there were only 3 or 4 trailers parked at the ramp. A few more arrived while I launched, but it seemed like (or even a bit less than) an ordinar...

Delta Launch Ramp for Memorial Day Weekend
I'm planning to fish Saturday and maybe Monday. Being a holiday weekend, I expect there will be big crowds. Where's the best place to launch in the central delta on a holiday weekend? I'm most concerned about parking and ramp congestion (although I'll plan a safelight start).

Re: California delta
I am in the same boat. On my first trip to the delta we did well in the NW part of Frank's Tract on Texas rigged creatures right up tight on the tules on outgoing tide; it really slowed on the incoming tide and after the 25 MPH winds came up. I plan to fish both days this weekend and next, exploring...
