Is the boat owner allowed to be in the boat and drive you guys around just like when FLW paid them to do so? If that is the case I'm sure guys will stay another day if they don't make the cut. You will however have to pay for that service yourself if FLW is not paying like years past.

There are many options but without a doubt, in my opinion, Calvin Burns is the best mechanic in the West. There are people from further away then you that take their boats to him. As stated above, he's in Redding at Redding Yamaha Seadoo (Formerly Oasis Water Sports).

REALLY BIG! Haha. How big was the SQUAW DOG? I've caught too many to count over 20lbs at Shasta. I hate em but can't get myself to kill them like everyone says to. They're a native species.

The iROD IRG744c is another great option. I prefer this rod with 15lb. Seagur in more open water or sparse weeds. If I'm fishing in the junk I'll go with the IRG754f "Fred's Magic Stick" with 65lb Suffix 832 braid and a 20lb leader of Seagur. It's similar to the 744c...only on performance ...

I had one and loved it. I never put it on my new Fortrex and ended up selling it to one of my friends. If you are getting one for a Fortrex you might want to make sure it's long enough. If not they make a Walleye model that's longer.
