There is a way to save some registration fees on your trucks. If you have a camper or camper shell attached to your truck you can go to dmv and change your registration from "commercial" to regular automobile and save the weight fee every year. Typically about $200. Very very easy to do!!!...

I agree that most of the time they work fine. But I also find that about 25% of the time one side pops off. They seem to fit a little loose.

Used but in very good condition. Transducer shield and saver for Lowrance LSS-1 transducer. Also has L bracket for Slidemaster jackplate. $85 TYD. I have gone to a hole shot plate and no longer need these.

I understand that it is illegal in Ca. to throw 5 "hooked" baits on the Alabama rig. But isn't it also illegal in Ca to throw a "dummy, non-hooked" bait. Which would mean that if you throw a rig with 2 baits that the hooks have been cut off, you are fishing an illegal bait???!!! ...

Go Shimano, no problem and their FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just had a Crucial and Compre replaced. They even waited until the 2012 models became available and sent them. The Crucial was a 2008 and the Compre was a 2009.

Rob, about a year ago I replaced my MAXXUM mount with a Fortrex mount and have never looked back. The Fortrex is an extremely sloid mount and if you liked the MAXXUM you will love the Fortrex. Do get a bouncer.
